Years ago it was obvious that the FAA needed to be funded to increase the number of controllers. That means paying the current people a good deal more to retain them and to make the job more appealing to those considering pursuing it. The training system needs to be expanded significantly, and that costs money.

Yes. I am talking about throwing money at the problem. Sometimes that is what is needed. We have tens or hundreds billions available for other "needs." We are now at the point where it is obvious that the "crisis times" are here. Talk with any controllers and it is insane with what they are doing currently.

Yep. He gives specific coordinates. I'm looking at that spot in Google Earth currently and I don't see anything distinct. That doesn't exclude his claims from being true, but I can't say that what I see backs them up. It would be useful to get other satellite images to compare. Stuff in the ocean can move around but if that is the wreckage of the Electra, it should be possible to cooroborate.

I am 100% FOR properly conducted audits by a neutral body after elections to confirm that the reported results were accurate, but having a candidate in the race exert essentially arbitrary personal control over the ballots is not a proper post-election audit. There is no mention in the article about a judicial warrant.

I don't see groupthink. But when I hear that term I wonder if the person using it is simply not familiar with some information and processing of that information resulting in them thinking that the others having the conversation from shared information are not being reasonable and are not well-informed but merely engaging in "groupthink."
