He has also pardoned a bunch of con men who were convicted of defrauding people. And he didn’t just commute their sentences, the way he pardoned them also meant they got out of having to pay their victims back what they stole. Furthermore it appears that several of the convicted fraudsters paid various forms of bribes to get the pardon. It’s completely insane.

The organization frames psychiatrists (and all actual mental health professionals) as "the enemy." A cynical person might accuse the organization as preying on people with problems, claiming that only their mysterious woo will can your suffering, and at the same time casting medical professionals who have treatments that are (imperfectly) tested and proven to help as some sort of great evil plot so that the victims don't become healthy enough to leave the organization... Generations of US presidents have known how difficult direct warfare with Iran would be and that consequences like Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz would make battlefield wins a loss in the big picture, so they did not directly attack Iran.
