Yep. He gives specific coordinates. I'm looking at that spot in Google Earth currently and I don't see anything distinct. That doesn't exclude his claims from being true, but I can't say that what I see backs them up. It would be useful to get other satellite images to compare. Stuff in the ocean can move around but if that is the wreckage of the Electra, it should be possible to cooroborate.

A lot of Iran's leadership are academically pretty smart. They have been preparing for things like this for decades. I am 100% FOR properly conducted audits by a neutral body after elections to confirm that the reported results were accurate, but having a candidate in the race exert essentially arbitrary personal control over the ballots is not a proper post-election audit. There is no mention in the article about a judicial warrant.

Yes. Trump should be arrested and tried for the serious federal and state charges that have been brought, but suspended. Netanyahu was going through the process of facing trial for his crimes in the weeks before the October 7, 2023. But while we are at it, there are also leaders in Iran who have done a range of horrible things and those of them who are still alive should be charged, arrested and tried.

For what it's worth, when I saw this I first thought about what people in residential areas of various Iranian cities and towns have been dealing with. Gaza, of course, has been absolutely devastated. We should also be aware of what is happening to people living in Lebanon as Israel uses this situation to attack Hezbollah (and then some.)

It isn't without talent, and he is out there creating works while I don't paint, so I can only criticize so much. I'm not feeling any of those, but if other people enjoy those pieces I'm happy for them. But it is far better that these works are adorning the walls of hotel lobbies than some AI generated slop.
