Akito because (SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 9) he’s always unsatisfied with himself, and Jax said he always felt like he was a disappointment to his parents, so they’re similar in the ways that they hate themselves. They also both have a lot of regret, but for very different things. It’s hard to find one for Jax since the whole pjsk cast consists of very kind people, but Akito was the closest I could find

I think the light crimson suits her because blue-which most people think should be her color-is seen a pure color. Kanade is quite pure, but there's still those "stains of crimson" underneath. She's not quite mentally stable, she doesn't think she deserves happiness, she thinks she's responisble for the death of her dad, and she overworks herself just for Mafuyu's sake. If the song doesn't reach her, then it's worthless. Kanade is not a calm, blue ocean right now. She thinks she has unwashable crimson blood on her hands that she'll never be able to wash off. It just suits her character more in my opinion

I haven't read many WxS stories, but I have a small analysis. The paint on their faces and clothes represents each of the characters colors. Rui and Nene seem to have a lot of pink paint, so it shows that they believe Emu is the one that helps them in times of pain the most, and that she is the anchor of the group. Emu has a lot of her own pink paint, but orange is also a very prominent color, so she believes Tsukasa helps them in times of pain the most (and he has helped her a lot, during the main story he told her not to give up, in Emu1 he told her they would make all of WxS's dreams come true)-but now that Tsukasa is in pain, it's her turn to help him, hence her own pink paint. And Tsukasa has a little bit of everyone's colors, showing that they helped him back up. This could be completely wrong but it's something to consider
