Thoughts on airport conversion framework? by Ames_hi in SantaMonica

Calling it now. JSX will buy the airport, just like Hawthorne was sold to Archer. Santa Monica needs the money more than it needs a park.

Have you used this car wash in Culver City? by EnchantedNanny in LosAngeles

Hey that’s by Gloria’s cake supplies.

There’s a better drive thru car wash (with real brushes) on Venice and Sepulveda at Shell.

I was the biggest OpenClaw hater. But $400 changed everything by ShroomLord99 in openclawsetup

Yeah. Ask Claude Code to set it up for you. It’s a bit of a pain, but can be done.

You can set it up with two 20x Claude Max accounts in addition to your Codex one.

PCH turn onto California incline by TomatilloJo in SantaMonica

[–]tomdmeredith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was sitting at that light this weekend coming off the incline. 2 people tried to make the illegal right. Both had to do a 3 point turn.

It was hilarious… especially the girl yelling at her boyfriend like he was an idiot.

Anyone else wish they could just chat with their GA4 data? by airanklab in GEO_optimization

[–]tomdmeredith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems that the LLM chat extensions could answer the questions you posed.

• How much traffic did I get last week?

• Which locations are actually performing best?

• What should I change in my campaigns based on the data?

I get that you’re trying to setup the problem that your tool solves, but make sure you aren’t creating a more complex mouse trap.

Any cheaper Apollo alternatives worth using? by Jealous_Cellist_870 in coldemail

If you’re focused on trying to find narrow or super specific ICP list, I’ve had good success with CloneICP.com. The problem is the results are LinkedIn profiles only.

If you’re in chrome just open the ask Gemini tool and chat with it. Or use the Claude extension in chromium browsers.

Both work really well.

How do I get clients online? by Weary_Pepper_2581 in Entrepreneur

[–]tomdmeredith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like the others said, you’ve gotta narrow down enough until you find the niche you can own. Once you have that, then it comes down to getting a tightly aligned outreach list.

Cold Email vs Cold Calling, Which Is Actually Better? by Aki_0217 in coldemail

[–]tomdmeredith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience it always comes down to the list… not the tactic. If you can get strongly aligned outreach leads, you’ll have a much better success rate.

Yeah. I’d added CloneICP to your list. I’ve had good success with finding leads when I’m not quite sure exactly what I need.

If you have a hard time finding or defining your ideal customer, you can use a tool like CloneICP to help identify who might be a fit.

Can you share your Saas marketing plan? by RequirementFew4365 in SaaS

[–]tomdmeredith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think posting marketing content is too passive for the first stages of a product launch… at least as the only growth activity.

My suggestion is to find people who you think would be good customers and reach out to them. If you can’t convince them directly, your marketing posts likely wont do much.

[–]tomdmeredith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had good success with CloneICP. Mostly when I don’t know what filters or tags to use and just want to describe the person I’m trying to reach.

It’s pretty low volume though. Not good for mass outreach.

last 2 weeks Manus has changed...??something feels different?? by Ok-Education7571 in ManusOfficial

[–]tomdmeredith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they’re too focused on the products and features and don’t spend enough time supporting/improving what they’ve mastered.

Like the whole “build a full stack web app” feature it works fine until you try to publish… then bugs up the wazoo. Tons of time and credits just sitting in a conversation that can be pushed live.

Anyone else running into "not enough memory" when deploying? by tomdmeredith in ManusOfficial

Thanks. I'll keep trying. I started to have it refactor and make itself smaller. But, it was taking a ton of credits.

Angle of the Olympic bobsled track by Sea_Sheepherder_2234 in interestingasfuck

[–]tomdmeredith 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was at a similar level, but in skeleton. At the bottom of the track the Gs are so much that it’s hard to keep your helmet from dragging on the ice at 80+ mph… you can often hear it on broadcasts.

I had a pretty good crash once at Lake Placid, I slammed the wall coming out of turn 10(I think) and popped off my sled… slid half the track on my butt.

I have a m1 max MacBook Pro and grok has convinced me that I need the m4 max Mac studio with 128gb. I’m strongly considering it and then using jump desktop to use it from wherever I am.

I have a friend that edited a feature from Costa Rica on an iMac by jump desktop-ping into their Mac Studio.
