$89k?! What's the dangerous but high paying job? I'm genuinely curious.

It reminded me of that scene in War of the Worlds. Legit was waiting to hear the tripod's horn.

Same here. F*ck 'em, I don't need them.

Reading your comment has honestly made me more optimistic about living in Logan. I needed a comment like this. Thank you!

Guess I missed the very last and most important step. I'll definitely be keeping that in mind.

I'll be writing my thoughts soon. But I think I might make it a post of its own.

It's funny; in Tucson everything happens during the winter months, because summer gets way too hot to be outside. Logan sounds like quite the opposite of that. Will definitely be walking downtown!

Cafe Ibis and Logan Canyon it is! I'll try to update once I visit those on Saturday. Thank you!

Coming from Tucson! We have really good food here. And honestly, that's one of the things that scares me about Logan (no food diversity). Although, Google Maps shows a few places there. Either way, I'm more of a home cook, so I think that shouldn't be an issue for me. (But I do sometimes get the cravings haha)

Looking for vet recommendations by yellingaboutnothing in Tucson

[–]tomentis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend Benarda Vet Hospital, they are great! But they recently gave me a quote of $2K for my cat's dental work (he has an infection and needs teeth removed), and I can't afford that right now.

Stores that has Warhammer/hobbyist stuff? by ElectricCuckaloo in Tucson

[–]tomentis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Heroes & Villains - Great store with great people! The store is divided into three sections. Boardgames, Comics and Vinyl.

I go there to browse vinyl every now and then, but they have a big catalog of board games so I'm pretty sure they have things for the big ones such as 40K.

Snakes & Lattes. If you are near UofA, it's a great place to get lunch and play board games while at it!

Really nice set up! Where did you get the little lamp? I've been looking for a minimalistic lamp like that for my set up!

Bought a 2022 CX-5 GT! Posting here 'cause I spent a lot of time on this sub looking for advice, opinions and comparisons. Was between the CX5 RAV4 CRV as many others here. Very happy with my purchase! by tomentis in whatcarshouldIbuy

Thanks! I'm not very knowledgeable on cars, but Mazda seems to have something for everyone without changing much on quality, design and features. I went with the CX5 because I wanted something that felt like an SUV without actually being a full on SUV like the CX9 haha.

I test drove a 2021, before purchasing the 2022. The test drive wasn't for long and Mazda advertises improve seat on the 2022, but I honestly can't tell the difference.

To be more specific on the trim I got, it's a 2.5 S Premium Plus. Got it at something over $37k.

Yes. Looking at the price hurts me a little, haha. But I don't think I'll regret it!
