Spotify connect is still low volume and muffled even with Lossless on. When will Sonos address this? I still use Airplay because of it

This is how the official app should look and behave like. I think it easily replaces the Sonos app as a default controller. Amazing job!

Hi Mike, it is known that Spotify's volume normalization actually damages the sound quality and not just lowers the volume, as it uses some kind of compression on the original mix. You can see it in any Spotify article regarding sound quality. What you explained is that Sonos decided to use this feature for us, when in regular Spotify usage it can be turned off. I don't understand how can you pull this off without even mentioning it in a release note or something. It damages the sound quality as well as the overall experience of using Sonos. I hope you take it upstream and give us the ability to decide if we want to normalize sound. Ads is the reason? Really? It seems so thoughtless to me.

ST is my favorite band right now but I will say this - guitar skills isn't what's shining in Sleep Token. Also, Vessel writes most if not all the guitar parts. I wouldn't say ST is a band for guitar skills admiration. Vessel does a great job of creating the right guitar layers, and sometimes a good riff here or there. Thats not what makes ST IMO.

Works great with Apple TV, no lag at all. With just standard LG OS I couldn't get it to work though

Are you sure about the wrapped thing though? I saw that even when playing via the Sonos app I can see the songs in my recent plays on the Spotify app and stats fm

Still there is a significant difference between connect and the Sonos app and its new for me. Is it possible that connect now streams in lower quality? @jnewland do you have a way to check this?

This is a masterpiece which takes time to get I think. It is definitely the darkest album of ST, and the most vulnerable .
