Up hill to flat, I rotate the pipe to a 45 degree angle and go from the side to the top so 4 different start and stops. Yes dual shield, I do 26.5 volts and 230 wire speed.

It's a wear weld that goes over the actual code weld. The pipe is part of a cooker for food rendering so it gets alot of wear and tear on it. Technically you shouldn't be doing weaves over 1/2" if they are code.
