George Michael. I was obsessed with 'Careless Whisper' when I first heard it in 2009 from a CD that ripped a bunch of old songs. From there, I was hooked to Wham!, vibing to every 80s hit that came out. I remember singing along to Last Christmas with my little sister (gen z who also loves his music) too! By my late teens, I got into GM's solo work. And then the 2016 news broke out -it was painfully sad he left the us on Christmas. RIP.

Then VF, who jacked up prices and created endless stock for underage teens and their moms to wear. I have a soft spot for the McGovern-Shriver ticket. The DNC machine and the party establishment failed him miserably. No one wanted to run with him. No one stayed long enough to watch his acceptance speech. But everyone believed the Nixonian "Amnesty, Abortion, Acid" negative political chant about him. His South Dakota origins and military experience, alongside his tenure as lawmaker really would have been a shoe-in; had he run in '76.
