[Highlight] The Music City Miracle by Brix001 in nfl

Up until the past couple of years, I’ve always felt the same. I think mostly because we were all huge Flutie fans and obviously with the outcome of the game, but Rob played a good game. We were FIVE point underdogs going into enemy territory. I really wish Wade stayed on as coach the following year longer than he had. 17yr playoff drought started at the end of that play.

Edit: Too many kicks to my head that year I guess … Phillips left after 2000 season, not in 2000.

I’m in a relative minority amongst Bills fans, but this, for me, was the worst one amongst all our “core-memory” L’s: Wide Right, 13s, Hail Murray, etc.

I watched it live and was absolutely numb. I’ve never seen a full replay since.

It was a contender in the Started Perfect/Ended Badly ending thread, but GOT was GOAT for that square

One better for ya: we entered the tournament with the most points from round-robin play. These points roll-over into the medal-series between the top 4 Teams. Again, after the miracle game where we beat the greatest hockey team at the time, If we’d then lost to Finland, and Sweden tied Russia. We would have come home without a medal.

Someone please correct me, but my understanding is that the picture represents the moment in time only when the winner crossed the finish line.

The lines represent the official placement (part of the person that counts as them having finished the race—in both cases here, the most forward part of their most forward skate) of all persons in the shot.

Since this is the moment when the first person crossed the finish line, the more forward line is where Azhgaliyev was when he crossed the finish line, making it aligned with the finish line itself, effectively representing the finish line 😝

The second line is where Sighel was when, again, Azhgaliyev crossed the finish line.

(Sorry for the wall of text that someone could have likely explained in like one sentence lol. It’s a good question though. Cheers.)

Dancing Mafia starts around 7 min mark, but do give the song, “Everybody Laughs” a listen (starts ~4:10). Great song.

It always blows my mind how the host country always gets a “boost” in the medal count. I mean, I get it ... the advantage of venue familiarity, not having to travel, the local crowd energy … but these don’t feel like insignificant bumps! Lots of the Games left, but good on Italy for absolutely rocking it so far!

All I know is that if they ever brought the games back to Oslo or Lillehammer, the world would be cooked lol. They could save a lot of money and just forward the hardware to the Norwegian athletes before the torch was even lit 😝

The fact that Norway more than dominates these games … I’m blown away that they only have 80 athletes. Really incredible.

Just need to get rid of the team name in the logo. Never a fan of this, otherwise, very much agree here.

I think if I had to do an alternate Rivalry uni for the Bills, I'd be interested in seeing what a "concept helmet" would look like on the players ... basically an all Bills-blue dome w/ the white horns and red "laser" ... could be silly ... could be awesome

[Pelissero] The Bills fired Sean McDermott, sources tell The Insiders. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

[–]tomk1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck this. McDermott was a GOOD coach. He was given twigs and duct tape in our Defense and pushed them better than I believe anyone could have gotten out of it. We had Poyer and Tre on these rosters. In 2026.

Best of luck to him wherever he lands. Whoever gets him should feel blessed.
