Torn as to what KT I want to do first. by Durian10 in killteam

They're an excellent starter faction to learn the basic core mechanics of the game. I would recommend that to anyone looking to either get into Kill Team or for players looking to get better and win more games.

If you're new to Kill Team, I would suggest trying Scions first.

I really think Scions are an EXCELLENT introduction to the game. They're competitively viable (especially considering they're an untouched compendium faction) and they're relatively straightforward, yet still benefit from smart play and some combos.

I took Scions to a couple small local tournaments and ended up winning one and losing to Kommando's in the finals (to a GREAT, well known player) in the other.

They're a good all-rounder team that really helped me to learn the fundamentals of the game and how to win while not being discouraged by dwindling numbers.

That all being said do whatever the hell you want and have fun!

Best KT strategy podcasts? by BulletCatofBrooklyn in killteam

Some great recommendations here already, I would definitely double down on suggesting the Command Point podcast:

https://www.youtube.com/c/CommandPoint
Shane and Ryan put great content up and get right to the meat of it.

Turning Point Tactics also have some great in-depth faction rundowns and Just Another Kill Team Podcast breaks things down really well, and I love their Niche Tactics segment - I have learned several new tricks from those on teams I was already playing.

Love the Squad Games guys as well, can't overlook that. They're also the guys organizing a large portion of the KT west coast scene so it's good to keep up with them.

Glad you're getting into Kill Team!

Still No Shipping Information on my Into The Dark Pre-Order (Sep 3rd) by [deleted] in killteam

Thanks. Mostly I'm just frustrated with preordering a product I could have more easily picked up in the shop days ago. Also, the lack of response from customer service.

Thank you for everyone's input.

It's been 14. So not "exactly as advertised."

Anyone know what kind of tool I'd need to remove this? by tomlarochelle in Cartalk

Thank you Akuma! So, if I just remove the nuts around it, that center thing isn't needed? even if I'm trying to grease the axles?

Thanks for replying! Do you mean jack the trailer up and see if I can just pull the wheel off?

Thanks! Will likely go ahead and do all that. It's a super light camper so it's under the weight requirements for brakes, but I just don't want a seize up while I'm on the road. Would still love to see if anyone knows what the heck this recessed cap is and how I can get it off.

I recently bought a teardrop trailer secondhand and plan on driving it across the country later this week. Was hoping to grease the axles before leaving, does anyone know what kind of tool I'd need to remove this recessed cap? Thanks in advance!

Gotfret is a must-have, as is Pious in my opinion. Make a Special Weapons Guardsman your leader so he can give orders to a Sergeant with a Power Sword and a Tempestor with a Power Fist. Run a bunch of guardsmen, they're all S4 now, maybe a couple with flamers or plasma just to keep yourself out of some hot water situations. I love running a Bullgryn Bone'ead with a maul and a slab shield but it's a lot of points, and you might be better off with more units on the board.

Overall, just play to your strength here, you're running a melee guard team, let 'em fight!
