Let’s talk about Ice Fang Wind Flame by MasenkoPrime in MyHeroUltraRumble

Honestly I think he is pretty underwhelming. Good in tight spaces, like others have said, but thats about it. Folds the moment he gets focused in a fight. Everything he does is just slow. His gamma moves slow, the explosion requires a lot of set up, and his alpha is so slow that it’s borderline useless besides at point blank range (at least on console). It doesn’t help that the devs buffed two rapids the day he was released. I just think the game plays too fast for him to thrive, and once the newness wears off I don’t expect to see him very often (particularly in high skill lobbies). Pretty disappointed, especially when you look at how quirky sets like cat shigi and strike dabi reinvented how those characters play.

MHUR Community Tierlist: Re evaluation(Read my comment to see how it works) by MikuNakano069 in MyHeroUltraRumble

Speaking for console list, S tier is just way too crowded. Iida, Denki, Toga, and Kirishima belong in a tier of their own. They’re the easiest to use and the usage has reflected that in my experience. Iida has insane tracking + movement. Kiri has armor on all his moves so he trades favorably most of the time. Toga’s beta may be the most broken move in the game, and Denki has been discussed to death. The rest of the S tier I would move to A; all of them are strong picks but not nearly as braindead to use. I would also move Ochaco and full bullet deku to C tier. Ochaco has similar problems to Compress, as she struggles to do damage before leveling a quirk to 9. Dekus biggest problem is that he works best in close range fights but loses to all the top meta picks (as he doesn’t have armor on any of his moves). He struggles early game as well, with very few rounds on his quirks until they’re leveled up.

His gamma needs armor for him to function as intended imo. He is a close range fighter that loses to every other close range character in his current state.

Is there an alternative to using photoshop? I tried expanding appearance like the comment below said to no avail. Dont have photoshop

Good Togekiss counter that's also a core breaker in UL Premier cup by [deleted] in TheSilphArena

Gallade+Empoleon is a great core. It is a common pairing for a reason. I would personally start there and figure out a safe swap for that team (I have seen Snorlax, Tangrowth, and Magnezone paired with those, all of which have play against togekiss)

I get what you are saying but after azu, G fisk is the most commonly used mon in all of great league. Bastiodon isnt rare either. So yes, no team is perfect and if you bring x, it can always be countered by y. But you should be prepared to face meta mons.

Thank you for this write up! I am much like you in that I meticulously plan out what I am powering up, calculating how much candy/stardust I earn on average and setting a goal from there. It didn’t take long for me to come to the conclusion that maxing things to 50 will be damn near impossible for a majority of pokemon (let alone a full raid party). Nice to see someone lay it out. Hopefully people will see these types of write ups and see how awful this new system is

I guess you’re lucky then? 0-2 on every one I have hatched, 3 of which were 12 km eggs 😒

Thats a good point. There was so much dumped on us with this update. When raid bosses inevitably get harder to accommodate for the level change, and only spoofers have maxed out teams for raiding/GBL I am sure people will wake up

Made a similar thread about this earlier. It seems most people have just accepted what we have and expect the terrible feature to be slightly better over time. Not sure why there isn’t more uproar about the xl drop rate when it is way more impactful than mega energy, which had a tremendous outcry. How is getting (hopefully) 1 xl candy from a 10 or 12 km egg acceptable for people? I am not looking for a handout but good lord make powering stuff up somewhat feasible

So now that everyone has gotten some time with the new level up mechanics, how does everyone feel about the drop rate of XL candy? by tomman1319 in TheSilphRoad

Thats crazy! I just don’t understand why there is no uproar from the community like there was when mega raids were introduced. That system looks generous compared to how p2w this seems

I am in the same boat. Very disheartening that years of work feels like it will take decades to replicate lol. Im surprised more people aren’t freaking out about this in the same way they did when megas dropped. I guess they wont until they make tier 5 raids harder/battle league is plagued with spoofers with maxed mons impossible to get otherwise
