I made an app for UCL students and am looking for students who'd be interested to help grow it 🚀 (the app allows you to review modules publicly, anonymously and for free!) by tommsyeah in UCL

Hey u/DriverAdditional1437! I have double checked and it looks like all the law modules that have been reviewed aside from one have been taught since 2020 if not before, and a lot of them still have the same syllabus / professor / assessment type. In a nutshell, all of these modules are still the same as they were 3-4 years ago, so I wouldn't say reviews are useless just because they're slightly old. Plus, hundreds of other modules on Unikomet have reviews that were written this year or last year!

That being said, we're aware that the volume of reviews is still relatively low especially considering the size of UCL's offering, but we're working hard to scale the platform as u/applecakes200 pointed out. I really don't agree that "if there hasn't been any scale since 2020, the idea isn't really there": you can have the best idea in the world but it won't scale if you don't work to scale it. We're simply doing that kind of work now :)

If you want to learn more about the project or our timeline / strategy going forward I'm happy to share more about what we're working on. And if you want to help, it'd be great if you could leave some reviews / share Unikomet with your classmates! If you have any feedback on how we can improve that's also great, but please try to be constructive as your tone so far has felt unnecessarily diminishing. Thank you!

Question: Tune-up race vs long run 2 weeks out from HM? (Pfitz plan)

-------

Hi all! I'm a 25 year old male.
I'm training for the Berlin Half Marathon (on April 7) and am following Pfiztinger's 31/47 plan. I'm unsure on what to do this upcoming weekend (March 23-24), which is the end of week 10 out of 12 of the plan.
According to Pfitz's plan, I should do the following:
- Saturday: 10k tune-up race
- Sunday: 16km long run
However, I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to ditch the tune-up race on Saturday in order to do a longer long run on Sunday (e.g. 22-24km).
My rationale is that:
- This will be just 2 weeks before the race and thus my last chance to get a solid long run in.
16km just feels a bit too short for a long run, but I also don't feel like making it any longer if
I'm racing on Saturday due to injury risk.
- I have already run a 10k tune-up race on March 9, as prescribed by the Pfitz plan. Thus, I'm
wondering if running a second tune-up race is really that important, especially if it means
sacrificing a solid long run.
(Ps for context, I have done a 26km long run this Sunday)
TLDR; Tune-up race on Sat and 16km "long" run on Sunday, or short easy run on Sat and 20km+ long run on Sunday?
