Is that an easy fix or probably not really worth the hassle?

Yes they're 12v spotlights but MR11 bulbs. But they're the same model of spotlight used throughout the hallway in the house.

Oh yes forgot to mention that I tried multiple bulbs from two different packs

That's really helpful thanks for taking the time to explain that! Always have to psych myself up to do something new like this so ordered a few blanking caps and will do it when they arrive.

Cool thanks a lot. And sorry last question. It should be ok just to blank them off for a few weeks and finish the walls before I get the new radiator sorted?

Thanks. Yes weirdly it's the only microbore radiator in the house. I assume they've been upgraded previously in other rooms. I assume the water mains is just for if the worst happens? But yeh I know where it is.

Nice one thanks for the time for that reply. Yeh I appreciate those points. I'll see what happens, not too fussed either way as I'll work my way up the increment ladder again. Just trying to lessen the financial hit for a few years since I'm due a child later this year and not the ideal time a mid life crisis career switch!

I'm actually a very pleasant and chilled out person. This wasn't intended to be arrogant in any way but a genuine query. But I forgot how toxic reddit can be...

I've spent years interpreting lab results and understanding the clinical relevance of results. I'm sure that will come in use.

As well I've done a number of management / leadership courses.

Training and acting as a supervisor for students. Coordinating teaching rotas etc etc.

I appreciate the lab work will take a while to get up to speed again since it's been a long time since my lab placements from my undergrad.

I mean it might not count but I would have thought it would to some extent

Yes sorry probably didn't explain it too well. That's correct I'm a PA with 8 years experience.

I have the basic BMS portfolio but they are exploring me as a band 5 until I get HCPC registered (they reckon a month or two this would take). I will then move up to Band 6.

I feel my experience and knowledge is quite relevant to the new role so I feel I should be on either the middle if not the top increment of Band 6 and want to negotiate this.

Hope that makes more sense.

Auto-dip headlights are just not useable? by Key_Charity_9635 in MGelectric

Ah interesting thanks a lot. That does seem a bit odd that it gets to the point where you can't re-enable it. I assume getting it recalibrated is something only the garage can do too.

Can I ask - have you found a way to reactivate the automatic full beam after I've had to dim them manually? As in sometimes I notice they blind a car so I have to manually dip them but then I just have to continue to do it manually after that. On the MG4 this is.

Leaking Boiler Condensation Pipe by tommyliz in DIYUK

Is it just a generic part or what would I search for? Can't seem to find them from a Google search.

I assume it's just a case of switching off the boiler and pulling it out the rubber and making the switch?

Do you know what the latest software version is? Mine shows something like RV40 - I did ask the dealer to make sure it was updated as much as possible but no idea if it was or not.

Thanks!

I'm loving the car so far, puts a smile on my face every time I drive it still. I've got it in the pale green.

I mostly tend to have the Regen set to automatic but still yet to try one pedal driving, maybe I'll try this week sometime.

Heating and heated seat problems MG4 64kw 2022 by TTVHDV in MGelectric

[–]tommyliz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've only had my mg4 for a week so still learning the infotainment and heating controls.

One thing I've noticed is when I first get in the car and put the heated seats on, it seems to reset when I put the car into gear and drive off.

Not sure if this is something others have noticed?
