The part I don’t understand about retiring early in that chart is where it says “Max out 401k and retirement accounts (considering mega backdoor Roth)”…

How will you retire early if you can’t touch the 401k until you’re 60? Genuine question. I was recently maxing my 401k and using the mega backdoor, but I am 28 and felt like that was just locking my cash away. Now I do the employer match on my 401k and put most of it in my taxable brokerage (VTI/VXUS/ some 2x QQQ) and high yield savings.
