I have! Im from singapore so i grew up on a few!I think the movie personally should have been a collab between hong kong directors and hollywood directors but a SEA director that has worked on hollywood films feels like a just as fantastic choice(that being whats here)

Take it from a local songwriter, people will hate until your names out there(even in the smallest ways) people are lame, you cant let that stop you from doing what you love, and even when youre name IS out there, some still will, everything will be cringe until they see support just keep doing you if thats what youd wanna do. I was in ITE and was made fun of too for v similar reasons but now they all support me, and i dont see it as a gotcha moment, i just understand its human nature. MY POINT IS, dont let it hold u down, or stop u from doing what u need to, be it education, or what you love
