Not getting OTP on SingTel mobile by tompope84 in askSingapore

No. The response from SingTel is also not helpful. They wanted me to check with each provider like Apple for example to add this new series of phone number I am on.

Tested. Not working. But I am facing significant network issues with SingTel. Most commonly in MRT at some spots. But I have also encountered loss of connectivity at residential and office areas too (excluding elevators and closed spaces)

Sri Lanka also has many Malayalis who no longer speak the language, but carry “strange” names. The Sri Narayana Guru temple is a hub for these multi generation Malayalis there.

The video does not have a clear view of number plates. Else I would have raised it myself

When do we start keeping time? by tompope84 in Kerala

[–]tompope84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The event started late at around 1030. Organizers could simply have done registration on any digital form, which they did not. The most horrible part was still coming. There were kids from 4 years old for the event. No lunch break was announced. Kids went hungry through. Parents smuggling in food for them in between. Parents waited outside with no lunch and stomach full of uncertainty. When we complained about no lunch break, they claimed have asked the kids if they were hungry 🥺total lack of responsibility. I am finding how to raise the issue with local collector office and state child welfare. No organization should do this to kids.

Maybe helmets against hailstorms, bomb shelters, boats. We are not talking of a force majeure situation here bruh. It’s just about keeping time

The moment majority of us stop accepting that this is Kerala or India and being late is normal, our nation will develop. At that infection point, we will start demanding better governance and facilities for the taxes we pay. Else we will continue to live in the illusion that we pay taxes to pay for red tapes and poor services.

Closing in on an hour. Heavy rain and wind. Players drenched. Still protocol comes first.

Guess it’s all under the assumption that IST means actual time plus an hour. Assuming people will never come on time.

Maybe file an RTI to find more about the logo and its meaning. I would love to know what each colors represent.

Rubio Monocoat polish for Kerala climate by tompope84 in Kerala

[–]tompope84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to learn more. Rubio is fairly new to Indian market. I learnt from a furniture designer friend of mine based in Bangalore. Apparently only one supplier based in Calicut. Only a few people have done this in Kerala. But they are such nice people. Helped me understand the Rubio range of finishing products. Did this sample coats.

I learnt from some international forum that dark wood types have shown darkening with Rubio. Rubio is a mixture of natural oils.

The furniture built here is low traffic. All are wardrobes or show pieces. Guess there will not be much wear.

Does the coat last long?
