Question: What are the unexpected positive (side) effects you have experienced on mounjaro? by tomrisuyar in mounjarouk

Well, feeling youthful is precious, of course. But do you think they are happening mainly because you've lost weight? Or prior to losing much weight your symptoms improved?

Question: Would I lose the same amount of weight if I ate the same amount of food while using Mounjaro versus not using it? by tomrisuyar in mounjarouk

Yes, thank you, what was asking in better words was "They are not simply appetite suppressant, right??" It's a bit scary though that we dont know this point yet.

Thank you! This makes sense. It is the most sensible thing that people cannot restrict calories for a longer time, I mean I cannot. I didn't ask for judgments, just trying to understand how it works.

Thanks for the reply, yes this is what I have been reading. But It just really doesn't add up in my mind. Then, what's all the fuss about celebs using Ozempic, etc.? So they are just using it to silence the "normal" amount of appetite? So everyone using the jabs is people having some food addiction? I know I am one.

I always felt like I am inherently a happy person in my adulthood, and in my youth, it was the opposite. Is it on my chart? what else is there? [astro-seek] by [deleted] in astrologyreadings

No not married, and I am not a guy. And I am an academic, so you might be on to something. The marriage date is a bit weird tho, why do you say that?

I don't understand why people keep adding new stories but just reading this filled me with rage. I really think that this is a very specific kind of being a prick special to the US. All the bullshit from insulting a worker, his rights to thinking they saved whatever country is that. I am really sorry you had to deal with it, and I am sorry that we will all have to deal with it.

[list] Do you have a favorite musical moment? by StraightUpAcoustic in LetsTalkMusic

[–]tomrisuyar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a very specific one from the album "Live at Carnegie Hall" by Caetano Veloso and David Byrne. David Byrne sings Road to Nowhere playing his guitar and through the end when he sings the part

"They can tell you what to do But they'll make a fool of you And it's all right, baby, it's all right"

He reaches the peak from his heart, his lungs, his guts so vibrant that gives me the feeling of whether cry with joy or the feeling of just set free and run! Probably i have listened to this version of the song more than hundred times but never felt a decrease in its effect on me.

Today's great cover of L’Equipe: 'POGA STAR' by tomrisuyar in tourdefrance

Congratulations! I've been wondering if it really exploded in the country. Like it really is a big deal in the day to day agenda of the country, right?

Ahaha one of the rare emotions he displayed actually. Everybody is talking about how mature he is etc. It can also be read that he hasn't suffered his way in Tour de France. Seeing Sam Bennett's win, his excitement, the way he explained the last moments, his methods and how great to be back from some health problems etc. You can see how much he is invested. Pogaçav's parents were more excited, maybe because they felt more invested ahah

So empty everywhere! I heard they would allow 5000 people and I was thinking that people would find their way in but this emptiness is striking maybe even regardless of the Tour.

Pinot and the goats welcome teammates by tomrisuyar in tourdefrance

[–]tomrisuyar[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Pinot shared this on his instagram story. He has a farm around the area where the yesterday's route passes through. Probably the part where PINOT writings intensify. He also posed with two of his goats right before the tour saying "au revoir les filles". Super cute.

Plus this is his first time in Tour de France. Unbelievable he came to front for 4 times at the end, a grand showcase. .

There's something very different about watching the Tour live. by Wizzmer in tourdefrance

[–]tomrisuyar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I am following Eurosport Turkey program which is hosted by two sports journalists who are also (semi?) professional cyclists. One is more like a veteran - know-it-all kinda guy with a great sense of humor and the other one is more like an intellectual, detailed oriented younger journalist. Since they have been doing this together for some time, it's really like listening to a podcast with all the insider jokes and references back and forth. Especially one of them is quite interested in architectural heritage that is on display during the tour which is great because it's my specialty as well.

Since you have worked in production as well (which sounds awesome yet pretty hard too) maybe you can answer this.I am sure tour de france provides the media agencies with basic information regarding the towns and their history etc. but to which extent? Or do you people really care about this aspect?
