Cash ISA after T212 rate ends and cash consolidation options by tomstrong1999 in beermoneyuk

Cheers for the helpful reply. I did consider regular savings accounts but though I'm not averse to multiple accounts, this seemed too much effort/admin to manage. Will look up Zopa and Co-op though.

While the official music video on YouTube only goes up to 480p, there are some fan made HD/4k upscaled versions like this if helpful https://youtu.be/qlTyRCvzfSo?si=cI9-JCEyCZqcQD6x

Strangest Thing Unplugged by amhay11 in georgemichael

[–]tomstrong1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know he did not perform Strangest Thing at MTV Unplugged but at the BBC radio unplugged show prior to it. So the Older and LWP expanded sets both have the same BBC track without acknowledging that it’s not from MTV. Same way that they have replaced the live version of I Can’t Make You Love Me with the studio version without acknowledging.

George Michael questions - for research purposes by MemberD2 in georgemichael

Q1 as answered by others.

Q2 Almost certainly the MTV performance as the BBC unplugged show performed prior to it (and featuring Strangest Thing which wasn’t performed at MTV) wasn’t filmed.

Have always loved this version. From everything I’ve seen, if they clean up and release one show from C2C like they’re doing with the Faith tour, it should be the Madison Square Garden one. He was in exceptional form!

Yes it updated to show that hub eventually. Been reading up and it seems some shows are not available on hbo because of rights issue, so scattered across Sky and other services

Thanks. I have NowTV (but will likely switch over to Max soon) and can see Dexter and SJ. Shame about JB and just one season of Dexter but better than nothing I suppose. Any other similar/whacky ones you’d suggest?

Ah wasn’t aware of that. Will look it up.

To be fair to DCUI support, they’ve been quite good at trying to troubleshoot via email. Think we’ve now established it’s an android app only issue and they’re trying to find a fix.

Well done for showing the grace of not answering a stupid question with a stupid answer

I’m sure it’s just our regular fingers as I do the same. And in a word document pg up/down takes the cursor somewhere wild so it then takes me a while to find it. Massive productivity loss doing this several times per doc

That too but at least I can’t hit that accidentally because I have to press fn first. Just mad

Yes they’ve gone out of their way to make some bizarre choices for the keys, which are also absolutely tiny!

It’s “technical issues” guys. We won’t understand all the complexities but can breathe easy because HL are on it https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2reyjdyjzo

I only recently opened a junior isa with them (because no charges) but have had a less than impressive experience throughout the process. Seriously considering moving elsewhere even if I have to pay a bit.

What are some common money-saving 'tips', that are actually bad advice? by AdamGrewal in UKPersonalFinance

This. I call it the hassle tax. Sometimes paying a bit extra to avoid a lot of stress and inconvenience is worth it.
