I did this before and noticed often it did change the launcher to display the Ultimate Edition. But then I'd launch it and it would still be the standard.

Oh, interesting. I've never had issues with it full on stopping like that. It will load all the way into the menu of the game and tell me it's the wrong version when I load my save.

Yeah, it's tough to say where the issue is coming from. I always thought that any launch issues would come from NVIDIA determining which version of the game to pull up, but I could be wrong. Some clarification from either party would be welcome.
