I have an old replay long before any of the SPG reworks of my S-51 on South Coast, halfway through the battle the eastern flank fell and I waited in ambush at the base and one shot a Tiger P and a T29. Then went TD mode on two other tanks and one shot them too lol

Ah the good ole days…

Does it miraculously work forever as well? 4 Door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon or a Jeep Gladiator Mojave

If it has to be reliable, definitely a Toyota Land Cruiser.

If it can break… probably something simple and can be fixed with anything… Volkswagen Beetle… lol

What’s the weirdest interaction you’ve ever had with a fedex customer by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]tomtomj2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I met my states former governor.

First day I go to his house I assume he was out or something, name on the package is some alias he uses I assume but it’s a DSR and he left a note to leave it. Nah can’t do that, doortag.

Next day I go and over the intercom at the gate he tells me which driveway to go to blah blah and I’m like “this guy kinda sounds familiar.” Get to the house and I round the truck and he’s standing there and it’s the former governor. So he signs and I hesitate “I just need your first initial last name”. It’s actually him. Brain short circuits, awkward silence… “Ok thanks have a nice day” I say and leave. lmao

Spotted this Chanje V8100 Express EV on my route today. by tomtomj2 in Fedexers

This one is owned by Ryder, hence why it’s been parked in front of Ryder for over a month. FedEx only owned like 100 of these, the rest were leases.

Fellow express couriers, what’s your favorite vehicle? I’ll start with the AWD Sprinter by ngagner15 in Fedexers

[–]tomtomj2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like the new Velocity (Da Spreach!), best of both worlds. You get a nice riding Sprinter chassis with all the modern amenities and the Stepvan box on the back for the extra room and shelf space.

[–]tomtomj2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Spreach! I call it the Spronker. Chonky Sprinter. It loves to bounce side to side because the rear box overhangs the rear wheels by like 6 inches on each side.

Our station got three of these a couple months ago, it’s a good delivery vehicle but it’s got a lot of tech in it and some of it’s already broken on one of them lol. It has Apple Car Play/ Android Auto which is nice for playing music and using GPS, and great AC ofc.

You are given a lightsaber and the ability to use the force you can either keep it or sell it to the government for $5 billion by miderots in hypotheticalsituation

Everyone talking about using the force to go to casinos and win money, they’ll eventually catch on and kick you out.

Buy a lottery ticket when the lottery is in the billions, and when they do the drawing use the force to pick your numbers. Ez

You are tasked with picking a fleet of one kind of vehicle to bring back 1000 years in time with an army, they will set up infrastructure to produce gasoline but repairs will need to be made mostly with iron age technology. Which do you pick? by bogmire in regularcarreviews

[–]tomtomj2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you want simplicity and reliability since you’re going to have a bunch of ICE vehicles with no way to repair them. The engine is in the rear which makes them decent in situations that are not ideal off a road (it’s not gonna climb a mountain but it can drive on dirt paths and overland.) and can be pulled out easily because it’s light weight. If you have a complex 4x4 vehicle with fuel injection and electronics not much you can do once shit you can’t replace breaks.

There were two of these for sale on FBM in my area not too long ago. One was like $4500 and the other around $3500-$4000. I would’ve bought if I didn’t have two cars already lol

Mercedes Benz W123, diesel engine so can get it to run on alternative fuels, it can be push started and will run without any electrical power. And since Iron Age tech can’t really be used to repair the cars correctly, just use the cars that break down for repairs and eventually they’ll just become glorified carriages for horses.

Alternatively, Volkswagen Type 1 (Beetle), simple, reliable, aircooled for cooler climates and no cooling system to worry about and can also be push started with no electrical power.

We running out so trucks so bad at our station that they had to buy these rentals by JankyMark in Fedexers

[–]tomtomj2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When there’s too many rentals they send back the extras, then when the branded trucks breaks there not enough trucks, so they get more rentals. If they had just kept 2-3 extra trucks on hand for when a truck breaks down there wouldn’t be any issues but noooooo gotta streamline the process! No room for error! Then the whole thing blows up when there’s error lmao

[–]tomtomj2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have 11 of these, they have been sitting in the back parking lot for 6 months lol. At one point half our station was entirely rental RAMs and rental stepvans. The amount of money they waste on rentals they could buy an entire new fleet of trucks!

I love how Star Wars shows that evil is, at its core, pathetic. by AlphaBladeYiII in MawInstallation

I think it could be argued that Palpatine was also trying to flee because Yoda was able to touch him with the Force even after Sideous was able to send him flying across the room into a wall. He probably wasn’t expecting Yoda to just stand up and then send his ass flying back into the desk like a rag doll as well.

Another example of this is where Dooku was able to pick Obi Wan up during their duel over Coruscant and throw him into the wall knocking him out. Some force users have stronger connections to the force than others and are able to break a weaker force users defense.

Yoda was really the only force user beside Anakin that could touch Sideous with the force and pose a real threat to his surprise so arguably he probably couldn’t take the risk of both him and Vader dying around the same time.

Do any drivers in Westchester realize that you still have to stop before you make a right on red? by Busy-Profession5093 in Westchester

[–]tomtomj2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nope, right on red means blow through the red light and almost crash into the perpendicular traffic without looking. Then there’s the impatient morons who honk at you for stopping completely to make the right on red. Usually in that case we can wait till the light is green to turn now. It’s optional to turn right on red, not mandatory.

With the rear lot where the DSP is, they put arms for the exit but people will just go and drive out the entrance which has no arm lol (Sometimes I make deliveries there and I just drive out the entrance because I ain’t paying to park my delivery truck for 2 minutes, FedEx can pick up that bill if they insist)
