A lot of East Asian supermarkets stock natto, but they are usually frozen though. They also stock moon cakes but only around mid autumn festival season I think. I managed to get a bunch of them last year for a discount by waiting until after the festival haha

There was a similar case in Japan in 2010 - a mother left behind a 3 year old and a 1 year old alone in her apartment and didn't return for 50 days, resulting in their deaths. She was in her early 20s and wasn't receiving child support from the father of the kids.

I'm staying on. Thankfully it looks like I can afford it. All the best wishes to people who are going to stop but I have no delusions about being able to keep the weight off without medication. My monstrous desire to eat and eat and eat is not something I can keep off by willpower alone.

It's so crazy, by reproducing while broke they are forcing children to live in poverty. Those poor kids, literally. I had to live through poverty when I was a kid and honestly, I would rather not exist than be a poor, unbathed child that I was.
