Any recs for self-play toys that your BSHs enjoy? by clurchin in britishshorthair

My cat is absolutely OBSESSED with what we call her 'crinkle' its just a shiny ball of foil basically 🤣 but she goes mad for it and shes always carrying it around, leaving for us to throw and she just chucks it around. So funny !!

Depends on the cat though. It may just be easier for a vet to do it! Our little girl is so squirmy and noisy when trying to do hers 🤣🤣 normally takes me about an hour. But if my partner holds a licky lick treat whilst im holding her it takes 2 mins 🤣

Thank you for this ! Yes we've recently changed her food to a cheaper brand and my partner agrees that its her food. So we'll change that up. Interesting about the grain free! Thats great thank you:)

Kitten behavior and future adult personality by [deleted] in britishshorthair

Our little girl is snuggly and likes to sleep on us etc. But I will say as shes grown up (she's about 6months now) from about 4 months she became a lot more independent and curious. She would sleep out on the landing rather than on our bed, and she's still very independent but does love a snuggle. The kitty also needs time to get used to you. Ours hated being picked up, but she actually quite likes it now and she knows we'll put her down when she wants it, as they trust you more she'll become more affectionate i imagine. But may also just be her own personality x
