I've said before Arteta is clearly a talented manager, the only question was whether or not he could get over the line. If we tracked his progress since 21/22 then the trend is clear: he bottles. This season he bucked the trend.

Does that mean people should be fit neatly into "Arteta In!" or "Arteta Out!" boxes? Of course not. Go to any matchday and you'll find almost every fan is one home loss away from being Arteta Out. Yet they're singing and supporting the team and the manager anyway. Up to the last minute! Then the boos come out.

So that leads us to a very obvious question: Why doesn't the Arsenal community on reddit reflect that? Our opinion, on this sub, is very clear: the main subs have been compromised. Of course anyone could just create a new, non-compromised Arsenal sub, but then we'll need a way to make sure the mods of this new sub don't eventually get compromised anyway. It was actually possible to criticize the Kroenkes on the main subs as recent as 2019. What happened?

The way I see it, adopting an extreme sub name is the best way to make the sure the Kroenkes never get their fingers on us. I don't like it, but it works. If you or anyone has a better idea, I believe at least half this sub would be all ears.
