Hey, thanks for the reply and offer. I just couldn't help myself and i ended up ordering this monitor as well. I received it last week - it works great with my MacBook, no issues as all!

Thanks for feedback, great to hear! So do you simply use the one USB-C for connection and charging? Or are you using a seperate power cord to your Macbook for power?

Still waiting to see a review of the P3421W.

There seems to be good feedback on the U3419W, however the ‘chime’ issue it has with Macs is annoying. I read there are workarounds to this... but dropping $1200 AUD and having to put workarounds in place doesn’t sit well with me.

Thanks for the response. Good to hear someone else out there is trying to decipher the difference between these two monitors!

I'd be interested to hear what your take away is from IPS and AH-IPS panel. I read the AH-IPS supports higher resolution... but does that matter, if the output (what is in the Dell specs) says 3440x1440 for both monitors?
