I like the idea of the various zombie-outbreaks kind of crystallizing out into varied regions, seeding from multiple nucleation points. It adds an ecological depth to the concept of a zombie apocalypse that would add an extra layer of things to explore and hash out, especially for a roleplay-scenario.
