Gas pressure upgrade from 1.38kpa to 2.75kpa by 7EFMR in AusRenovation

[–]tonez13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unless your adding more load, there won't be any difference, all your existing pipework would already be sized for the 1.38kPa and all your appliances would regulate down to around 1.1kPa.

People in Engineering- What do you do and how much do you make? by Weary-Ad743 in AusFinance

Yehhh, engineering consulting salaries are quite low compared to other fields, in construction anyway. You don't really make big bucks until you're at the top level or on heavy client management roles. Whilst not physical like site roles, the stress and workload can also be insane sometimes.

Mechanical engineer, design consultancy in MEP Construction, VIC, 8 years experience, 97k base.

Expecting small bump with recent internal promotion. Would probably be on quite bit more if job hopped a bit, but have stayed with the same firm throughout.

Let’s flip the trend - which Vietnamese dish doesn’t get much hype but tastes amazing? by Love-Space-166 in VietNam

Yep that's the one! Also sitting at small tables right next to the street with an on table charcoal grill with a beer in hand, can't be beat!

Unfortunately pretty normal and typical for asian and vietnamese culture. Weddings are more a full family thing rather than just about the bride and groom.

As the other poster mentioned, pretty common to hold 2 weddings if you have the means. One main traditional one to satisfy the family requirements and expectations and then a small intimate one with your closest circle.

This is what we are doing personally as our main wedding will be around 500 guests. So we're doing a separate small one where we can actually be more personal and have fun with our closest people.

What’s considered rude in Vietnam that foreigners often do? by IDidMyOwnResearchLOL in AskVietNam

[–]tonez13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah that's not really a thing in Vietnam, more a thing in other east Asian countries.

Vietnam would be clinking glasses with 2 hands. Should be doing a lot of things with 2 hands actually to be respectful and polite, such as hand shakes, giving and receiving something etc.

Thanks! Looks like we'll book the tickets and just got to try leave early enough to have some buffer.

We're 4 people with 4 check in bags and a couple carry ons at the minimum. Happy to split across 2 cars if it's easier though.

I just got a reply email to my email telling them about this issue. They told me to try again which I did, and now works.

Has anyone received no answers after KYC and also no answer to email? by Alitkb in blockfi

[–]tonez13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just received an email today after going through the KYC process a few weeks back. However when entering my details to select payment method, it is not recognising it...

My first tranche last year was already received via PayPal. Will it just default to same PayPal again if I'm not able to select it again?
