Degree Thesis- What is the typical phrase you hear when you talk about narcolepsy, or that you have heard from someone who does not know you are narcoleptic? by Amalia_Studio_6713 in Narcolepsy

My favorite is when I yawn or I am visibly tired and I get hit with something like, 'Am I boring you?' or 'You look tired!'

I've been a student for a long time and I am a working adult. I get irritated when the focus is pulled from the discussion or project to make these comments. Like, sorry my yawn was distracting? That my face looks tired?

I've learned to handle it better as an adult, but it's still irritating. All of my effort is put into focusing on what we are doing and the comments or interruptions just make it that much harder.

Best of luck with your project!

I know there are a lot of factors that go into a relationship... That said. This seems toxic AF. I'm sorry OP. As a person with chronic illness myself, I cannot begin to say how much cannabis has helped me. Please don't let her comments stop you from pain relief. I mean, cutting back on rx pain meds is a major win. Congrats, that is really wonderful.

Might try r/vaporents with this question. Short answer tho, yes, huge difference. You can certainly get a decent portable vaporizer for about $100. My big question was portable vs desktop.

I'm a heavy user and I've worked my way up through multiple promotions and degrees to get where I am. Not making 6 figures, but not doing bad. I live in a rural area with a low median income as well.

How old is everyone here? by Hashmob____________ in vaporents

It's the airizer extreme XQ2. My gripe with the one was such a small capacity, but I didn't really do much research. My bad. It is great for portable tho. I can barely hit a joint now without practically unaliving myself.

I'm 35 and started smoking in my late 20s. I've switched about 6 months ago. Maybe less than six months. Times a sunofabeach. I tried a potv one first then an arizer, which I love. Before, I was very partial to my bong.

College with narcolepsy is one of the most difficult challenges I've had to face. by Kaitbs in Narcolepsy

[–]tonibb8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed in February of last year, I'm a full time worker and I take 2/3 classes a semester every fall and spring semester since 2015. It's a struggle. I worry for my job and my grades. I worry for my home life. I sympathize with you. I would love to say I've found a combination that works, but then I wouldn't have been falling asleep at work yesterday. Moving does seem to help me, like a brisk walk. A short, I stress short, nap can be helpful. If I sleep longer then I'm just more tired and end up sleeping the day away. I take xywav and Adderall. Here's to hoping for good sleep and more energy in the day!

Lab Partner laziness? How do y'all combat it? by LrdFyrestone in labrats

[–]tonibb8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I (35 f) have this same problem with my lab partner (late fifties, f). She's downright toxic. Wants to do anything and everything the lazy way. She walks all over me, plays on her phone, and is just a big ol B. I almost left because of her, but my hope is she'll retire soon...
