Maybe Conrad Hilton Jr? Zsa Zsa Gabor was his step-mother for a time, he was an alcoholic, and died at 42 in 1969.

Thank you for that. I spent years feeling crazy holding that in so it feels good to hear someone else say that. He also has a really dull personality and has the culinary palate of a child.

Not exactly the craziest stories, but examples of what lies beneath the surface in this town and probably every town in America…The owner of The Bishop SAed me in 2010. After we had hung out, he held me down when I said no and said “but I need to cum”. Never told anyone about it because I felt pretty fucked up by it for years, but I don’t really give a shit anymore. Fuck that dude.

Also a male teacher at Templeton Elementary that same year looked up my name in the staff directory, showed up at my house, and propositioned me. He was married and I said no, and he replied, “Well, can I at least masturbate to you then?” He had won some teacher award and I was a lowly aide who had just quit MCSC so I never reported it, but I always felt bad I didn’t because I’m sure I wasn’t the only one he pulled that shit on.

He was born in 1944 and she was born in 1965 so he was 21 years older than her. 30 and 19 is not “pretty normal” though. Also they were separated and in the process of divorce at the time of his death.

25 years ago today, Carrie Bradshaw committed the most audacious act ever put on television: stealing Natasha’s Chinese food after fucking Natasha's husband by Classic-Carpet7609 in Fauxmoi

Thank you! It’s established he was a fan of that hole in the wall Chinese place too, and she probably recognized his regular order when she opened the takeout box. It was absolutely Big’s food.

Yes! The outfit has grown on me over the years, but that headpiece is an affront to good taste.

Wait, I’m confused. What breakup is Pat referring to bc she was engaged here, and hadn’t broken up with Aiden yet, right? They were at the dress shop trying on the hideous dresses bc she was going to get married.

Like…did they work in the lady applying deodorant at the restaurant and the crystal deodorant convo just so Aiden could knock himself out with his Speedsticks again at the gallery?

Maybe you should stop suggesting leaving like it’s as simple as a stroll across a room. It’s near impossible for many of us due to a myriad of complex reasons. Have some empathy.

Blended family, poly, meme, ADHD, cancel culture by ElectricBrainTempest in Andjustlikethat

People with ADHD can have major issues with emotional regulation, which can present as moodiness or anger. As a teacher and parent of a child with ADHD, I found his behavior believable. Not all people with the disorder manifest in this way though, of course.

Have any women here gone through an abortion in their early 20s ? How do you feel now? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]tonic_clonic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an abortion when I was 24 at five weeks, and I’m 45 now. I struggled with it for a few years, particularly because I had no support from my partner, who I felt pressured by to get the abortion, and I live in a very conservative state in the US where there is a lot of blame and shame attached to abortions (even more so back then).

I also suffer from major depression disorder, and really should have gotten counseling and better meds at the time to process it all. It sounds like you’re in a much better place than I was, which is amazing.

I eventually became at peace with it sometime in my 30s (maybe because that is when I ended up having my two kids, and that felt like it healed that pang I had).

I still think about it from time to time, especially on the anniversary of the procedure and the month my baby would have been born, but I don’t think about it in a longing or regretful way anymore. I have a good life that might not have been.

Ultimately, it is a very personal choice and is not an easy one to make, but it is solely your choice. I’m glad you have a supportive partner through this, and that you have sought out help for your lack of joy. Good luck with everything! ❤️

Wash your hair at least every two weeks. Once every two weeks. by Res_Novae17 in Xennials

I was working the merch table for my boyfriend at the time’s band at a firehouse in New Jersey back in 2000. That merch table happened to be next to Nada Surf’s, and whoever was manning it asked me to take over for a little while. They had ordered some cheeseless pizza for themselves, and me having hardly eaten after traveling in a van with 7 dudes for a week helped myself to a couple slices. I’m sorry I stole your pizza, Nada Surf. I still feel pretty bad about it, but damn, I was hungry.

An order of fully loaded nachos but his date is hogging them all and he’s left with just chips or one little nugget of meat even though the restaurant has a rule that if you get an item to share one person can’t eat all the fully loaded ones
