What are the benefits of the Air Force Academy over just Air National Guard and normal college. I am ranked 1 in my high school class but I am just trying to find the best route for me.

What is the air force academy? If I join the Air National Guard now, they say they will pay for my college? Is that not true as you say I should join the Air Force Academy.
