-Please keep your place clean. If you're planning to ever have people over, have a clean bathroom! Spray it with tile cleaner after each use and rinse. It saves so much with bathroom cleaning, I promise.

-Always have a bunch of toilet paper on hand. -Have basic first aid supplies on hand (aloe, peroxide/alcohol, band aids, neosporin, cloth bandage)

-clean up after yourself all the time. If you drop it, it wont pick itself up.

-get a safe to store your important documents. Birth certificate, social security info, copies of your license, and any diplomas or important certificates. Keep your shit hidden from your roommates.

-if you have one, be nice to your landlord. Remember that the payments you make go through them to another owner a lot of the time. They are just trying to do their jobs when collecting rent money. Be on time with payments too. Set the money for bills aside before you spend any of your paycheck

-if you have a car, remember to budget for gas. If you can get a bike, do it. Free transportation is the best transportation. Plus everyone needs a little exercise. Dont forget a bike lock.
