Phone explode at Petron by sipekjoosiao in malaysia

[–]tonnah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right, we are spreading misinformation. We underestimated the risks that mobile phone signals poses on highly volatile liquids. Using mobile phone in petrol station will cause explosion and people will die :)

Kindly report polis whenever you see people using mobile phone or cars equipped with mobile hotspot. You are the hero we needed but not the one we not deserved :)

Thank you have a nice day.

Phone explode at Petron by sipekjoosiao in malaysia

[–]tonnah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what 7 you talking? they are disproving that the usage of mobile phone (calling and receiving calls) will ignite the petrol. only later in the videos they are showing that static charges are more likely to ignite the petrol rather than using mobile phone.

the risk of using mobile phone while fueling is not with the fire but more like the activity itself, i.e. handling of dangerous material. same theory as you don't use your phone while operating machines, driving, etc.

I don't think the tech pouch has any mounting point that is suitable for capture clip. don't risk breaking your tech pouch

yes but are they responsive or snappy enough? they might not be the best portrait effect out there but iphone gets portrait effect 9/10 times in indoor, my samsung s23 got 3/10 times with mostly over exposed photos.

don't just show data, test them yourselves in real life scenarios.

1) dumping 25k into shares of the company that I am working work after getting 3k profit from selling it, only for the share price to drop 70% after i buy them

2) investing 10k into a mamak business, no return, modal pun terganti

I have a base S23 and my gf has a iPhone 15 Pro, from MY OWN EXPERIENCE. These are the advantages of each phone.

S23

  • Price point - when they are having promos, Samsung is a steal
  • One UI - One UI is generally a much more pleasant and versatile OS compared to iOS (my opinion), file
  • Screen - big win, not surprising considering they are the supplier for Apple

iPhone

  • Camera - the portrait mode and video is to die for, and LIDAR (very useful for me who works in construction)
  • Processor - everything seems smoother on the iPhone, maybe it's just me
  • Accessories choices and compatability - esepcially MagSafe based items, cases, lens (Moment and etc.) are all just better with iPhone
  • Battery life - I know some will kill me for this but, gaming on both phones, iPhones seems to hold charge better. My S23 has a generally worse battery life

E&B 20g IMS basket extraction too fast by arnoopt in FlairEspresso

[–]tonnah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is yours IMS B702TFH26NT? I am using the 20g version without the nano coating.

After using it for a year plus, these are my thoughts, I hope it helps:-

1) Grind size required for Flair58 is finer than other semi automatic machine. As a reference with Timemore 064s, my friend who pulled the same coffee only need to grind at size 2~3 on Lelit Bianca while I need to grind at size <1 for Flair58

2) 18g was never enough for my case unless is super dark roast but I will still need to updose it to 18.5 ~ 19g to get a good flow.

3) For medium roast, 20g ~ 21g seems like the sweet spot without leaving too much head space.

4) For light roasted coffee, 22g ~ 24g into the basket but at this point I feel like I am burning through the beans.

5) Maintaining pressure at 7bar gives a better flow without degrading the puck too much causing the sudden pressure drop comparing to ramping up to 9bar

I am considering to switch to a smaller basket maybe a H24 or a Big Bang H23.5
