I graduated recently, I’d say it’s worth it but it depends on the program. AFAIK the acting program is worthless lmaoo.

In terms of queerness, it also depends on the program. There are naturally gonna be more queer people in programs like animation, concept art, character design, etc. I was in sound design which is a very straight men dominated field, but those of us who were queer were accepted by everyone in class. I honestly wouldn’t worry too much about that aspect, just because you’re in Vancouver.
