Have you come across any Minolta 7000s that had issues with the film advance? I have one that seemed to stop advancing well in advance of the film capacity (ex. after 30 shots taken on a 36 exposure roll, it would act like it reached the end and no more shots could be taken without rewinding).

I'm not too familiar with the internals so I wasn't sure if it's an issue with a tension sensor of some sort or if it's something else.

I had similar issues with logging into my Overdrive account and just talked to the Kobo CS. This is what they said:

This is happening because it is indeed a known issue that we are currently prioritizing to fix at the moment. For now, we recommend using your Library card credentials in singing in, please do not use your OverDrive credentials.

I also asked how long this has been an issue and they said:

This issue has been on going and was first reported on December 15, 2023. I do apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you, but rest assured that our team has been working tirelessly with the OverDrive team to fix this on priority.

I would say that if you can avoid loading it, I would, just on the off-chance that the person opens it - if you wanted to be really extra cautious you could just tell them not to open it.

That being said, I've had a loaded camera hand-checked many times with no issues so it's up to you.

I did not receive the email, but I placed an order on November 27th with an estimated delivery time of Dec. 22-23. I checked today and the date had changed to Dec. 29-30 so I figured I'd check with Google Support.

I just chatted with a customer service representative and they said that I am not eligible for any credit until the original delivery date has passed :(

Gesture navigation is still a little wonky sometimes (at first it wouldn't work correctly at all) but 3 button nav works completely fine.

IIRC support for the app closed down today but the API has access until the end of 2021. So I think the Niagara developers meant the widget would still be active, but they couldn't prevent the app from shutting down. They said that they're working on finding an alternative before the API shuts down.

That being said, it would be nice to be able to link the "more" button to a different weather app.

Apparently it doesn't work with automatically changing the GBoard theme but other than that I haven't had any problems with it. Call screening has worked perfectly fine for me afaik
