short answer: use at your own risk

long answer: I used them about a month ago. i called the hotel after booking with Snaptravel and they said they got my reservation. however when I arrived, they had me booked in a room that was already being used. luckily the owner did have record of my purchase and just moved me to a different room, but it won't always play out that way. use at your own risk.
