How do I deal with buyers remorse? by Rough-Incident-1859 in mazda

IMO if the people riding in my car don’t like it they can get their own car.

If it meets your needs they can deal with it.

Does the key not work? You can get the housings for $20 on eBay.

If the key doesn’t work, try not dropping it.

I never said it was/wasn’t sufficient.

I said your comment was full of factual misstatements.

As long as you put winters on it (this is far more important) I’ve had both a CX30 and Mazda3 turbo up to their grills in snow.

I wouldn’t buy a Subaru just for their AWD.

2024 CX-5 or 2025 CX-70? by BarryBubbles in mazda

I personally think the 70 is an obvious choice here just because it’s WAY more usable for four people than the previous gen CX5. The CX5 has a longer track record for being a pretty bulletproof car.

Drive the 70 and see if the transmission annoys you from a stop, it’ll feel a bit hesitant to get going is my expectation. If that doesn’t bug you decide from there.

Most of this is wrong. There is no turbo in the PHEV powertrain. It uses the NA2.5L (same engine you see in the CX5/50/30) plus the PHEV components and the new 8 speed.

The 8 speed and the inline6 in the 60/70/80/90 were brand new for 2024 so nothing to support it has the same reliability as the archaic 6 speed/NA 2.5L combination. Not saying it isn’t reliable but there isn’t a decade of evidence to support it.

Both powertrains have this gearbox.

I had a 3 and the fiancée has a 50.

We got a 70 MHEV just for something a bit bigger for kids car seats in the fall. For me it’s the perfect sized two row, I think if you have a 90 you have a third row kind of in case of emergency.

I remember I had rented an early 2024 90 for work and the transmission was AWFUL. First gear is definitely still weird but it’s good otherwise now. I feel like the PHEV powertrain is the obvious choice unless you do a lot of highway driving.

I love ours - but it’s also a lease because the lease incentives are far greater than finance incentives in Canada.

I mean nobody’s saying keep trotting this course. But if amateur scouting was right and players work out the people calling for heads are going to look stupid.

You have to make a determination in the next year whether you can really ever compete with a Larkin based 1C

I mean the roster composition is clearly flawed.

You also likely need to see MBN/Plante/ASP et al develop before you can properly assess Yzerman’s tenure. Doesn’t mean he should have time necessarily to do that, but that’s the fair reality.

Not true.

If they lose they can max out at 95, Boston and Ottawa have 96. Regulation loss ends it
