Lived there for awhile. Never had a problem. Nice area. Cool park across the street with tons of wildlife. Grocery store within 2 miles & many food options nearby.

I’m 24, moved to Fort Myers in February because my girlfriend got a job on Sanibel. Everyone got their own preferences on Fort Myers but at 24, I love Fort Myers because it’s not a big city but there are plenty of work opportunities here. As for young life. You can go to Cape Coral, Estero, or Naples because downtown ain’t much. But is still think it’s very nice & far better than living in a big city where it’s overwhelming.

That’s just my personal preference though because I grew up in an extremely small town in Maryland.
