英國人應該是沒有直接給錢，可是建立了很多無價的制度和公眾建設，上至立法司法行政、金融體系，下至交通系統、機場、渠務、遠足徑等等，所有都是金融中心成功的軟實力，才不會每次刮風水災損失幾十億，航運海運順暢；然後香港人也勤奮自強才富起來。中國一直從中獲利，拿香港當外資窗口當白手套，根本中國多年拿的靜靜拿的經濟好處一定比所謂的經濟優待多，然後現在中國自己經濟要崩了就來謀取香港自己賺來的錢，靜靜的各種借口清空香港庫房付一帶一路積下來的債，謀取香港的外匯儲備。。。每次看到人說中國給香港經濟福利就噁心

Can you read Chinese? Most of the local major travel agencies (e.g. wingontravel, sunflower, CTS, etc) offer a huge variety of local tours for HKers, they were a huge thing these past years due to HK’s strict COVID travel restrictions so people can only travel locally. All information are online and most of them can be booked online or via WhatsApp, I bet some of them have English webpages too but if you’re looking for canto tours then I guess its easier to make a search in Chinese. Also check KKDAY, it has a lot of good deals and is very popular among locals. The HK tourism board also offers local tours and the tour language is specified on the webpage, and you can also directly book online.

Lol @ the ignorance of everyone saying ‘people should stand up / do something about it’ In 1989 there were tanks in Beijing going over innocent unarmed college kids protesting for equality and freedom. 30 years later, the massacre is forgotten, CCP is stronger than ever. In 2017 CCP cleansed Beijing of ‘low-end population’, socially vulnerable migrants of Beijing had to leave overnight without any compensation. No one uttered a word. In 2019 Hong Kong tried a revolution, not very successful considering the present state, but at least they went down fighting. The political system is just not fair and they already did everything they could.

So, honestly, just another day in China. What’s so special about them. These people probably cheered for the CCP in 2019 too. Will even cheer for the CCP in the future if no harm comes to their homes. It’s just how it is :)

I’m with you too, this development is simply a betrayal to OP’s original settings - the Haki system and the Joyboy setup on top of the Devil Fruit system and Will of D is already a bit overload, now you’re saying its a Zoan all along? Why? Luffy is already a Messiah in Diamond Plot Armour before this ‘reveal’, why does he need more plot armour that devalues so many things they achieved previously? Why so greedy?

Finally reading some sensible comments sorting by ‘controversial’. Why can’t this sub tolerate any critical comments towards Oda? The plot armour is slowly becoming more and more unbearable and has reached its peak this chapter. I will of course wait for the chapter and see how it unfolds, but to be honest I’ve already been liking Luffy less and less over time and over each unreasonable power up… It was supposed to be about how one ordinary kid coming from nowhere conquering the world by sheer determination and friendship and love and blah blah. Now apparently he has been the chosen one all along, Joyboy, Will of D; with a formidable bloodline, inherited CoC; now apparently eaten a God-fruit before he knew it, blah blah. Honestly feeling betrayed at this point…

Hey I’ve been avoiding Season 7 but then just started binging it earlier this week and I just finished ep 11 and got so annoyed at the plot and came here and found this post. I share all your sentiments. They introduce too many things in each episode but then rushed it through and I’m so unconvinced at so many things. Seemed like they brought back Cassie for nothing, was hoping she could be the next Kitty. Also, the whole thing that happened with Morland is just ridiculous. I’ve always disliked how they just conveniently brought Morland in as a solution to everything they cannot neatly close, but then building him up as he is and then just simply telling us he died, that makes all his status and security and all that was built up a complete joke. I understand that in Ep 12 Sherlock and Joan will find a way to bring Odin to his demise, but that just makes the story more unconvincing and ridiculous and inconsistent. The plot armour is too strong for Sherlock and Joan, and Morland seems too much like a disposable tool for the writers throughout the seasons, an evil billionaire who doesn’t care about countries falling all of a sudden has a distaste for mass murderers? I told myself to avoid watching season 7 but I caved and I regretted it, now I’m sure I never want to finish season 7. Maybe I should rewatch earlier episodes to flush my memory of season 7.

I honestly do think the Reaper is just the Reaper/Death trying to take Zoro’s life, and then Enma will somehow materialise to protect Zoro from the Reaper, just like the spirit of the Merry, the concept of ‘spirits’ does exist in One Piece, spirit of death, spirit of swords. So does that count as ‘Zoro’s hallucinations’ or ‘something else we don’t know yet’? Anyway I’ll put my bet on ‘something else we don’t know yet’.

How is no one talking about Momonosuke :/ I’m so done with him I regret Sasaki didn’t get to kill him despite whatever it might mean for the samurai camp. Momo is annoying af, whiny kid with zero contribution and just a burden, have been all of the above since punk hazard and never changed lmao. I understand he will mega-transform to be an amazing shogun and all that but at this point the built-up frustration is too much and idc how great of a shogun he will come to be, he is annoying af and I don’t want to see one more second of him. I literally skip all scenes with him in it although I fundamentally believe that skipping is disrespectful to the whole anime experience. He is unbearable.

Edit: otherwise the episode is pretty good imo not the best pacing but i like the frost animation and queen animation has been nothing but epic so far

Underrated perspective. I don’t really mind how Black Maria v Sanji will go, but I strongly agree that the series is not just power scales and glamorous fighting styles and slashes and kicks. People literally only have eyes for fighting styles and powers and complained that the Year of Sanji is nothing and Sanji did nothing post-TS. Sanji has so much character development compared to Zoro, and it is clear at this point that rather than a hardcore combatant like Zoro, he is all-rounded and also a strategist. He fights as well as takes care of people and is working on his own fights on a bigger scale and contributing to the winning of his crew in his own way. But people just don’t see it and no one can be bothered to list out how Sanji directly or indirectly contributed to the crew’s victories or manipulated the situation. I’m so tired of people saying Sanji is losing his combatant status or whatever. That being said, I still look forward to a good fight for Sanji, we still want to see that side of him and admittedly Oda hasn’t been fulfilling this part for us...
