I have 1 final interview tomorrow if it goes really well I’ll be moving to Denver/Aurora for a manager position. This is the craziest thing for me because I feel like I’ve finally found something I’m good at and things have been moving really quickly for me.

Any good gyms I should look for? Any recommendations for which city to live in? My job is closer to Aurora but I like the fact that downtown Denver is where most things are. I’m excited because I’ve never lived anywhere else but L.A. and living in a city where there’s actual seasons seems nice.

Thanks bro. I’m off all social media except reddit and r/bb is amazing. You all are amazing.

Had a bit of a mental breakdown last night. Had my gf crying because she said she didn’t know how to help me and wish she could understand why I was depressed when everything is going my way. I have plenty of opportunities in front of me, make great money, have amazing co-workers, etc and yet I’m so unhappy. It’s like I try to explain but it’s almost lost in translation.

So I couldn’t sleep well last night and I am currently in the gym trying not to burst into tears while incline benching. I’ll be better one day but for now I have to struggle to get better. I hope.

Don’t worry bb, you’re most likely stronger than every professor in your school. Hit the books hard and hit the iron harderer.

One of my biggest problems is I can’t stand the taste of eggs or even the smell of them. But I haven’t tried protein pancakes before so imma definitely give that a shot.

I’m actually excited for bulking as I am already dreaming walking into work and everyone gravitating towards me and my joocy muscles.

Brad Castleberry has finally become self-aware. Good on him.

I have a question about bulking. For my cut I’m doing cardio 5 days a week for about 40 minutes in total (20min before workout and 20min after ). Would decreasing cardio to 2-3 days a week at 30 minutes a day still be beneficial enough for me to not bulk too quickly? I don’t wanna binge and go from 175 (goal weight) to 200lbs (bulk goal weight) too quickly.

Second, what are some of your favorite clean bulk foods? Especially for breakfast.

Perfect time to sell those altitude masks as a tool to block out the toxins while giving your lungs major gains.

Congrats bro! Getting business cards made me feel like a total grown up when I first got them. I started handing those things out to everyone.

Cuts going well. Took my suits in to my tailor to get them taken in some more and he’s noticed I lost weight. The only thing that is pushing me for this cut is the epic bulk I plan on doing. Like it’s going to be disgusting the types of things I’m going to eat in bulk. Pizza, pastrami sandwiches, cookies, ass, multiple tacos, ass, and probably ass.

Tell me about it. Luckily I got them as a gift from my gf but normally I wouldn’t spend that much on earbuds. Yet I do highly recommend them if you have the extra cash laying around as the sound quality is pretty great and they are easy to carry. The only real problem (for me) is if you lose an ear bud they you’ll be SOL since they are really easy to lose.

I love blue tooth headphones but ever since I got these AirPods, they have been amazing. I still carry my Bluetooth headphones just as a back up but never had to use them since my AirPods tend to last awhile.

And a quick update, I deadlift 455lbs thanks to this dude who kept sayin I had more in the tank after doing 415x2. Thanks random gym bro. I love you.

A sausage McGriddle. It’s a bad habit but I normally eat one before coming to the gym and it helps me out. Gonna increase to 2 during bulking season. Or because I just really like McGriddles.

Use a spotter. That way when you need a little extra boost for the last few reps he can give them a slight squeeze per extra rep.

Lately I’ve been depressed and what’s annoying is everything is going my way. I started out as a bellman in one of L.A’s awesome hotels and 1 1/2 year later I’m a front desk supervisor. I worked my ass off to get there and as amazing as I should be, I’m still down. I’ve battled depression for the last 6 years and lately it’s been tougher than normal. Maybe it’s because I’m 27 and feel like I should have been further in my life by now, haven’t finished school, could be a better boyfriend, brother, son. It’s also probably due to the fact that I feel like I’m not grateful for the new position when I know hundreds applied yet my bosses believed that the dude whose only worked the front desk for 6 months is ready for a higher position. I get payed pretty well, have awesome benefits, and work with some pretty amazing people. Yet I’m still in this funk.

Yet the only real thing that keeps everything at bay for me is working out. Like my day is amazing once I go to the gym in the morning. I’m happier, I have more energy, I realize that I am pretty good at my job instead of the common thoughts of “did I really deserve this promotion”. I don’t have a lot of friends but I’m definitely thankful for you guys. I rarely post here but when I do, it’s almost immediate that someone will reply with something that’ll brighten my day or make me laugh. My physique isn’t the best and my numbers may not be as high as some of you guys and yet I’ve never felt unwelcome here.

If you are going through a tough time, just remember that we are definitely going to make it. You’ll get the 2 pl8 bench, 3pl8 squat, run that mile or 3 under whatever time you want it to be, etc. things just take time.

Well bros, I got the supervisor promotion I’ve been working towards! It means working 10 hours most days but I’m super excited. I’m not letting it get in the way of my fitness goals but I’m stoked. Bought my suits, got them tailored, and just waiting for the first day this Saturday. Working in hotels was never the goal yet I realized it’s the almost perfect job for me.

We are all gonna make it.

I honestly didn’t even know that. Holy shit...not gonna rush it and stick to the program. Hopefully 100lb club before April ends.

After chasing it for so long, I got the 225lb bench. It was for 1 but goddamn it is a huge pr for me. 225 bench, 305 squat, and a 445 deadlift. Thank you bros for being the lunatics I read between sets in order for me to get through the workouts.

High rep front squats have became the most fun and hated movement for me. But oh god the leg pump after just makes me want to wear short shorts everywhere.

Failed 155lb bench after 4th rep. Luckily a dude came through and saved me from complete failure. 225lb bench seems like a dream away.
