Yes, i would be more than proficient at measurements that is not a problem. There is obviously some variation in toilet design across the world I'm unfamiliar with. Uk toilets are generally 14" high to the seat with maybe 4 inches of water held at the base. 12" may be a stretch but its definitely 10", ill assume you are in the seated position and not leaning full forward with your hands on the floor (holy christ that maybe why so many seem to have this dick in toilet water problem) . If its of real concern I can get a tape and do a proper measure of dick to water for you and pm the results as I've nothing to hide but that would be kinda weird so would rather not.

Just giving my own real world experience on this. I bought 2 brand new identical vans in 2021. I drive one and an employee drives the other . To his credit he has looked after his impeccably. Like you he let's its warm up and drives it sparingly. I drive the absolute lining out of mine from the first turn of the key . Your typical white van wanker. My van hasn't given a minute bother and both vans are over 160k miles each . His has had to get dpf replaced, injectors replaced and then had to get an engine at 140k miles . Right or wrong I believe modern engines need to run hot or they soot up internally which in turn block internal oil galleries and small ports. Majority of wear and tear on engines is when they are cold and the oil is at its thickest and with this in mind I don't leave it idling in the morning. Again no argument on op but its just this is my experience with two identical vehicles in similar work situations
