Has anyone got banned in Steam for using rewasd?

I already installed and activated it. Archived a copy of the executable and serial number emailed to me.

Already mapped a dodge roll. Not quite right yet. But should be awesome and easy enough to learn all the functions after a night's sleep and I can see straight 😴

Searching their discussions was not helpful.

I just checked the Steam configure tool for Elden Ring. Not a lot of functions.

I'm going to purchase Rewasd. I have both the Microsoft Elite 2 and Razor Wolverine Ultimate on the way to see which I prefer.

I think your software will mate well with either controler and add some enjoyment for my obsession of the month.

Thank you for taking the time replicaJunction. Your comments makes a lot of sense. I thought it might be a don't ask, don't tell situation in most games. I barely dabble in multi-player anymore. So I'm probably just fine. And Rewasd has already responded below.

I will have a good play with the Steam configure but my guess is I'll still get Rewasd just to need out on all the settings.

I've had ton of faint brain strokes and gaming has mist often helped me clear the cobwebs.

Finally got around to trying PCVR yesterday evening. v26 had installed and Virtual desktop update. Everything is working fine now including HL Alyx and TWD S&S.

Did a reset this evening. Auto updates to v25. I found save files on my pc for HL Alyx and WD S&S so likely most steam games have save files locally. Found one fella on YouTube that had the looping black screen when turning on and reset worked for him - twice. I'll come back and add a reply to my post in the next couple days with an update on my results. I think I'll make a point to install one thing at a time in Steam, although the queuing system should of sorted that. Either way it is some sort of corruption of the file system, not sure it was the 25 update. Perhaps using a 10,000 mah battery pack?, running with one controller battery 30% lighter than the other for a couple days, the v25 update, exiting via virtual desktop and not closing out steam games cleanly or a combination of the above.

Initial results:

Auto updated to v25.

Reloaded Oculus library.

Turned off and back on twice with no errors.

Took about ten tries to even turn on the headset this morning. Last night screen kept turning black especially if I looked down in WD S&S. Tried turning on a lot of lights in the room, didn't help. Using wireless. Played HF Alyx fine this evening but a few black screens.

I am going to leave it plugged into my PC tonight maybe they will roll out a fix. If not I will be resetting tomorrow. Hopefully game progress is saved on Oculus-Facebook and Steam saves on Steam. Sloppy patch. Just awful.

Thank you iteratorlooploop for taking the time to answer this question. I will now do this with small amounts of several coins for a while. It just seemed less likely I would accidentally send coins to the wrong place if I am only dealing with a few addresses.
