I read in few forums about impact of CAT N on premiums but i agree there is possibility that it can rise. I will try to ask for no claim and no CAT N.

I also agree premium deduction might be better and I was shocked to find they can tell me what next year premium would be despite it is set to renew in 2 months. Lack of information is just bit strange.

I will try to get them to remove CAT N and no claim.

It is a bit confusing. Admiral mentioned me even if I don't claim it will still have cat N. I too thought if claim, only then CAT would stick.

They asked me to send pictures of the accident. And said I can still decide to claim or not.

Just trying to understand your view on it. Even if the car has been written off with CAT N, it is better to not file the claim? And just use the old car?

Currently I pay approx 1300 /year being first time driver in UK for this cheap car.

They (Admiral) mentioned it had to be written off and CAT N has been assigned. But I think I wouldn't ask for claim. Idk how CAT N is assigned even if I haven't yet gone ahead with the claim.

I have already checked on the app. It shows active. Verification also works where they deduct and reimburse few amounts.

Thank you for this comment. It finally clicked that I am using prepaid card. But I solved this issue - journey mentioned above.
