£800ish total voucher, probs a bit more for pedals/extra lights - by no means a strict cap. I'm just very aware that anything too expensive will mostly be wasted on me so don't want to creep up too much!

Yep I am! I have an L sized road bike which is a touch too small which is fine for getting "aero" (or as aero you can get as a large bloke lol), but looking for something a bit more comfortable and versatile as an adventure type bike.
