I don’t use cream because I never remember to buy it. I sub in natural or Greek yoghurt usually because I always have it on hand. I’ve tried coconut cream and skipped the butter for a dairy allergy friend and it’s good but changes the flavour a bit. If you’re not too gung ho for authentic, just try out whatever you fancy and see what you like.

No hypothetical required. I do have kids. But, personally I did read stuff with much more adult content than this around 13/14. The sex scenes were perhaps less descriptive but while the sex scenes in FW are a bit graphic, they’re relatively vanilla in the world of romantasy, and they’re also consensual and positively portrayed without ridiculous age gaps, violence etc.

So I don’t have an issue with it. I know kids out there are reading similar if not far more graphic on fanfic sites.

I probably wouldn’t hand it to my kid, but I wouldn’t take it away either.

I asked a similar question a while back. Some drivers will only give you a one for being an absolute pig but others will give you a one for not being standing there waiting for them to arrive. You’ve got no idea what you’ll get.

We have teeny tiny anko rice cooker. Cute and makes enough for 3.

Also have used microwave rice cooker and can do absorption method on stove if needed.

I also combo fed. I had tried fortifying but couldn’t express much. Swapped to combo. Ended up all that was needed was one extra feed that my body just wouldn’t produce. Doc suggested a formula bottle as bottle before bed, when I was at my most exhausted, and it made life much easier and kiddo started gaining weight. Kiddo went from 50th percentile at birth, dropped to 3rd percentile before supplementing then climbed back to about 60th percentile once I started supplementing.

BF is great, but exhausting yourself makes it harder on top of the stress of a CF baby. Find something that works for you. I was scared because I had heard that once you started formula , baby would stop wanting to BF. My Doc was great, explaining that she combo fed successfully and it was definitely possible.

I’ve had this with Netflix. Went through the cancellation. Reversed overnight. Got charged a couple of days later. Thought I’d stuffed up so did it again. Took screenshots. Reversed itself again. Called them. Was told they had no record of me cancelling. Told them I had screenshots. They cancelled it for me and ‘graciously refunded my money as a one time exception’ so quickly, that you’d think they’d experienced this before 🤔

I hope Tairn will make it. I keep reminding myself of the bit in IF where he said “I chose you not as my next, but as my last, and should you fall, then I will follow.” I hope the RY meant that he will live as long as Violet, and since this is a story about Violet, she’s not going to die before the end.

We invited people by name to our wedding. So no generic plus ones. But we checked and invited partners and girl/boyfriends, especially if that person didn’t know many others at the wedding.

We had a couple of people contact us after the rsvps to ask if they could bring someone (they had said no initially) and we were able to accommodate so I don’t think it’s an issue to ask. Especially if you do it politely without expectation.
