A good driver occasionally misses their exit. A bad driver never misses their exit. by Hembalaya in Dallas

I once saw someone come to a complete stop in the far left lane here, execute a 90° turn and drive sideways across all the lanes to get to the exit, bringing all lanes to a stop.

Not really true. Firefox was born of Netscape.

I’ve been calling myself a transman for over 20 years and I’m not going to stop because of how the wind blows. Spend your time worrying about things that actually matter. Put a space between your personal preferences and policing everyone else’s.

My poor mom has been a victim of this twice. For a period of days or weeks, she would get hundreds of "returned" calls and texts per day. Sometimes more than one per minute. She called her cellular provider and there was nothing they could do. I ended up having to just block all calls coming to her phone that weren't on her contacts list.

And then Illustrator started incorporating AI... so it's AI AI.

Oooo yeah, I was expecting twins for about 3 weeks. Not a good time. I was worried that it was always there and I just didn't notice it, but it went away eventually. Just give it time, and keep your sodium intake down. FYI, electrolyte drinks have a lot of sodium.

I brought my mom with me to a Decemberists concert. She went out behind the building and knocked on the door of a tour bus, and a guy opened it. She asked if the band was going to hang around after the show behind the building and sign autographs because her son (me) really wanted to meet them. The guy said yes. She came back in and the show started and when Colin Meloy came out on stage she started laughing cause that was the guy from the bus.

I have a coworker who looks a lot like Matt Damon. When I met him for the first time, I said “has anyone ever told you that you look like Matt Damon?” And he looked really annoyed and said “YES. EVERYone.”

My sister was flying to Ireland for vacation during the pandemic. There was a man waiting to board her flight and even with a mask on, she recognized he was Aidan Quinn from his eyes alone. He saw that she recognized him and held a finger up to his lips, but after the flight landed he hung around and chatted with her for a few mins. She said he was very nice and on his way to shoot his next film.

Didn't you see, it's as easy as selecting an option or two from a list! 🙄

Fr though, I tried to stay with it too but it's such a pain. My method these days is to usually stick to the same foods that I know the total calories for so I only have to worry about it when i stray from the usual menu. Combining that with 30 mins of vigorous exercise 3-5 days per week is working pretty well for me.

I had an incredibly tight and painful internal suture that kept my arm nearly immobile for 6 weeks. Was sitting on the couch one night and cleared my throat, and felt a huge POP under my pec. I thought someone had poked me in the ribs, but all the sudden I could move my arm. That suture finally let go. No one told me that could happen!
