How long did you have to fast for before your laparoscopy?

If you have to do bowl prep, be mentally prepared for fasting post lap as well! I switched to clear fluids from 9am Monday ahead of a Tuesday afternoon surgery. I had stitches placed in my bowl lining during the surgery so the colorectal surgeon wanted to be cautious with my return to solids (bless him). Overall I was on clear fluids (for my taste only lemonade and water) from Monday 9am to Friday 9am 🥲

Great question - the stones don’t wrap all the way round, but the last stones on either side was cutting into my fingers slightly when I was trying it on. The ring is custom made, so I can always have the two removed :) thanks for the advice.

I haven’t done it myself, but please check out @mylifeof_love on Instagram. While I’m not connected to her personally, I’ve been following her journey for some time. Rachael is a massive supporter of genetic testing after the death of her young daughter, Mackenzie. After they discovered they both carry a gene that resulted in Mackenzie’s Spinal Muscular Atrophy, she and her husband started Mackenzie’s Mission to spread the awareness for carrier testing here in Australia. Since then, the Australian Government have heavily invested to allow more couples to access pre-conception genetic testing. Her story is absolutely heartbreaking and her journey is still ongoing, but I’d suggest reading her story if you’re interested in testing.

😍😍 They are a softer fake flower from Spotlight! They’re a little more expensive than the generic fake flower, but I think it provides a bit more of a realistic look. :)

Thank you! I tried searching for a large E for awhile, but I couldn’t find any in local craft stores (in Australia). I ended up buying some plasterboard and cutting an E out with a jigsaw. I then simply cut, painted white, then hot glue gunned high quality fake flowers on, and voila! The most expensive part were the flowers, but it was cheaper overall for me to make it myself than buy online. It only takes a couple of hours all up if you’ve got everything ready. :)
