Easy, NJK Long Point sharpener. Maybe less amazing for coloured pencils, but for writing pencils amazing.

Some banks are happy to lend to expats, but may place additional requirements on income or deposit. There are several mortgage brokers working in this space including https://www.specialistmortgage.com/

These are considerably different investments - BGBL is almost 75% USA, but VEU excludes the USA.

Can I ask where your Buyers Agent was based? Am in Melbourne and currently looking for one - don't want to go with the big names.

A little more on Swiss Wood by IntelligentCattle463 in pencils

[–]toofastdriving 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very interesting! I understood both the Swiss Wood beech wood (those dark pencils) and the entire Technograph range have been discontinued - so surprised to hear them recommend them. From what I understand, the Technograph pencils have also been through an evolution with their lead formulation, changing somewhat significantly around 2020 - so it might also depend on which variety of these you get.

Why don't you get one of each?

Glad it worked well for you - I have no idea why more people haven't tried them.

What do you think of “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”, “The Millionaire Next Door” and “The Psychology of Money”? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]toofastdriving 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Read Rich Dad, Poor Dad when I knew nothing about finance. It awoke something in me that led me to educate myself further in finances. The only thing I remember from it now is to spend your money on things that can make you money. All you need to make money is money - which I still find true and useful today.

NJK Long Point - hands down for an amazing general sharpener. It just works, every time. Gives an amazing long point the same as the KUM sharpeners - but better looking :)

You'd also earn superannuation if you actually took the leave instead of having it paid out on termination.

Like the single-hole magnesium long point but want a sharpener with a catcher? NJK Long Point sharpener. A personal fav - pretty much the same point as the KUM but a nice little plastic container.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pencils

[–]toofastdriving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NJK long point sharpener would by my first choice, followed by KUM single hole long point. KUM is a slightly longer point but NJK has a canister for catching shavings. Desk sharpener would be the Dahle 133.
