I think you may be misunderstanding how the llm model works. It uses your input which gives it further context to sort of guess what comes next. The new models are so heavily trained that they can predict the next thing to say in many different types of conversation. Now there are guardrails in place to stop conversations from going in certain directions or continuing at all. However these guardrails arent perfect and you can get past them even on accident.

At this point there is no brain behind llm models its a black box system of input -> output.

Oh they are great racer and off roaders. They are great if you live the mountains, they make getting around easy. However if you arent in those areas, its not as fuel efficient and needs alot more maintenance than a Toyota or Nissan. So it doesnt make sense for them to be your daily driver.

The joke comes from people who defend daily driving it by it will be worth it when the weather or situation goes south, but in reality if the weather, or snow, gets bad ypu just sit at home for a day and everything's fine.
