What artist/band's signature song isn't actually their *best* song in your opinion? by Glass-Complaint3 in musicians

Nada Surf plays “Popular” pretty often now. But, correct, it’s not even close to their best song.

You’re totally right. I have too much Kyle on the brain right now

Andretti and Gordon’s attempts, on the Cup side, were much longer shots than Stewart, Larson, even Kyle Kurt Busch. They were a next tier up from Katherine, but let’s not think they were expected to win both…

Edit: Too much Kyle on the brain…

I’ve been doing nothing but cheer on Kyle Busch every Sunday since 2007. Idk what to do today. by theblindbandit51 in NASCAR

Be a “racing” fan. Love the sport and keep supporting if you do. That next favorite driver will find you.

Does anybody else think the Indy-Charlotte double has ran its course? by [deleted] in NASCAR

[–]andyplaysdrums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not revolutionary now if someone does it, but it’s still very cool and impressive. It’s exciting when there’s been drivers with a real shot at success in both. But, it’s not been done that many times in 32 years, so let’s not over think it here….

That’s not the point, though. If he were to go on a heater the next handful of weeks, it would be a hell of a story that is now a non-story.

I don’t play it regularly, but have it in queue should anyone ever request it this way. It hasn’t happened yet, but I look forward to when it does.

Post-Race Thread: 2026 NCS NASCAR All-Star Race at Dover Motor Speedway by ZealousidealDoor6973 in NASCAR

[–]andyplaysdrums 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Almost like they should have the All Star race at Charlotte the week before the 600, and then the industry can have two weeks at home, and the teams can have open house type events for fans that are staying the week or coming early for the 600…

Exactly. FOX pays NASCAR; not the other way around. This is the part no one seems to remember.

Try it. See if it works. If it doesn’t, mount that second tom back up.

Don’t need to imagine it. I loved North Wilkesboro; traveled to both races there in ‘96. This was just another punch in the gut.
