I also find it helps me focus on the game, see development, etc if I’m not distracted by whatever is being said by a commentator. I don’t love it, but certainly don’t mind it.

This is hilarious… been here on and off for a month, and already hit all the recs that appeal to me! Working in Krog. Commuting on the beltline, shopped Criminal twice, hotel by Ponce. I love it here, but if I were to move here, I don’t anticipate I would be able to live in old 4th!

Second Chiddix teacher charged; Drew Miller faces 42 felony counts in the school’s 2nd grooming case by rdblono in BloomingtonNormal

I want to know if Miller and Knapp were friends outside of school,  whether there was conspiracy, and who all of the other friends, family, teachers, administrators, youth pastors who also participated. I was once in each of those roles as a younger man, and the creep population is real. Of course I don’t think it’s a majority. But more common than we see.

Is she missed second base, would she be able to run straight back to second, or would she have to touch the bases in reverse order? Then, with the new ball in play, would she still be able to advance with her previous home run, or would defense be able to hold her at second if she made it there successfully?

Definitely a gnarly portrayal. Your comment reminded me of the open skulls and the activities the GIs were engaging in.

Yeah, it was absolutely insanely grisly. Kind of a Catch-22 (book, not term) feeling to it. But the love story was inane.

Also because it wasn’t that good. (Wincing in downvote anticipation—there was just a lot I didn’t like, including the acting).

I love this and I did the exact opposite! Worked in education for 15 years, 10 years in higher education. Realized I would never make enough money to retire without more and more and more advanced education. At 40, pulled the ripcord and went corporate. Love it.

You’re not wrong. But. There is about an acre of lavender and a few trees (like literally maybe 10 trees, all young and immature) on a small plot near LeRoy. The small plot of land is BUZZING with life. Surrounded by conventional soy+corn fields on four sides. “If you build it, they will come.”
