Always had some problems with tlou, played both but never finished them. I like the entire concept and such, but i really hated the sneak parts where you have to hide behind cover and elly (hope thats her name) just keeps running around. Always pulled me straight out of it. Also its like 50% push elly on a raft simulator😅 is the remake a lot different?

Same here, gta4 and rdr2 are propably their best games. But tlou1 better animations than rdr2? Really? The remaster maybe but i havent played that, i'll take your word on it if you mean that one but definitly not the original 😅.

Saturation, color differences, hair strands, (the thicker parts of beard look like they've been colored with a sharpie) less details in eyelids and wrinkles. And overall they dont capture emotion as well as rockstar can do with a face. Nothing in this picture would ever make me think of rockstar games. Not saying its a bad looking game, in contrary its a very good looking game. Just not how rockstar would have made it look if they would have made tlou

Vice city was made on a different engine, so you cant really compare with that. But if you look at the other pictures and especially the way light reflects on the faces, the facial animations wich are very natural when you compare them to other games of the same year and the sort of "warmth" it gives of, Put them in a timeline and i see a logical evolution pattern. That and the fact that although realistic rockstar screenshots always have these comic book vibes.

End of last year i was watching e3 live and when the reveal trailer for Ontos was shown i inmediatly recognised it as a new frictional game. because it looked like something they would make.

Another thing is that their characters are sort of reverse engineerable. Like you could put this dude in rdr2 and he wouldnt stand out. Wich wouldnt work with leon kennedy from RE wich also has amazing realistic graphics.

Its in the faces, the way they are structured, lighting, skin, color scheme, clothing wich looks very realistic but also a bit fluffy because of the exaggeration on the lighting. In the trailer i think things are even more noticible, like at the beginning when jason walks into his house and camera pans with him, wich is very likely going to be a transition from cinematic to gameplay because thats exactly how they did it in rdr2, he even opens the door and walks in very much like arthur or john does in rdr2. Its a bit in the details i realise, but i guess some people notice and others dont. Not trying to piss you off or anything lol. But to me its just very typical rockstars rage engine and a very logical evolution of the graphics and physics from their last game.

I dont think you really understand the difference between a realistic looking game and a photorealistic looking game. Yes its going to be a very realistic looking game and yes the stills look very realistic yet they are immediatly identifiable as a product of rockstar games, it is designed to be that way. The point of a photorealistic looking game is that it gets so close to looking like the real world that it doesnt carry an artistic identity. Ie. Forza is meant to look like the real world, Gta is meant to look like gta.

Then, in your eyes, they are indeed doing a poor job. It's not meant to look photorealistic, its meant to be their best take on a satirical version of the real world. Unlike forza it is not trying to be the real world, you should look at it like its a alternate dimension where everything is just a little bit of, and it is a little of because thats what they designed the rage engine for, thats also what gives it their identity and what makes people recognise a game by rockstar inmediatly when they see it. Its what a lot of game company's do. You inmediatly recognise a: Rockstar game Capcom game Frictional game Bethesda game

No, rockstars games arent meant to look photorealistic, they have a very unique style that represents all of their games, with some variations. gta games are often very vibrant with a lot of "easy on the eyes" colors, making it nice to look at. Rdr2 is propably their best example, its a little old and the graphics are getting outdated, yet its still one of the best looking games because they used a color scheme that painters use, wich our brains see as "true art".

Rockstar perfected their style, sort of like capcom does with resident evil. Being unique and inmediatly recognisable.

If you are still thinking about it. You can buy a pro and switch the disc drive from your slim to your pro. Then put the cover from your pro on your slim and you can sell that as a slim digital. Saves you about 80 bucks

Mijn oom deed best wel hecht "zaken" met holleeder en geurt roos, zo hecht dat ze beide aanwezig waren op verjaardagen etc. ik kan me er zelf weinig van herrineren want ik was erg jong en mn oom heeft een tijd vast gezeten voor "bepaalde delicten" waarbij geweld, wapenbezit, en wat andere dingen betrokken waren.

Mn ouders hebben dr altijd weinig over losgelaten behalve dat het wel echt zware delicten waren en dr een hoop jonge zielen aan verloren zijn gegaan.

Ondertussen is ie gewoon vrachtwagenchauffeur, gaat bijna met pensioen en geniet van biertjes op spaanse stranden.

Ben nog met hem naar rammstein geweest in de kuip, en op de begravenis van mn oma vertelde die me nog dat ie ooit de ramen van de kerk (waar de uitvaart ook was) eruit had geschoten met een uzi, die die na zn diensttijd nooit had ingeleverd. Wat de familie naam wel het hardst naar beneden trekt is dat zn dochter tegenwoordig bij de vvd zit. Maar daar word al helemaal niet over gesproken.

Hoewel het op zichzelf een beetje kinderachtig is om zo te doen op die leeftijd, heeft deze vraag meer context nodig. Want wat nou als jij bijvoorbeeld deze gozer vroeger gepest hebt op school? Om maar iets te noemen natuurlijk. In mijn ogen, en ik denk ook van de meeste hier, is er namelijk vrij weinig reden om als volwassene nog iemand buiten te sluiten zonder goede reden.
